Gone are the days when the gates of Crosswinds swung open at no cost. They've introduced an entrance fee, but it's not without its perks. At first, we were all taken aback when we learned about the new entrance fee. My elder sister was particularly shocked, exclaiming, “Oh no, that’s ridiculous! Php 1,000 for the entire van?” It was a stark change from the past when entry was free. The idea of paying Php 1,000 seemed absurd to us. However, once we discovered that Php 700 of the fee was consumable, we found the deal more reasonable and consented. Yes, folks, for our little van to roll through this alpine-inspired sanctuary, we shelled out Php 1,000, with Php 700 redeemable at their culinary havens. A fair trade, I'd say, for a slice of luxury living.

Developed by Brittany Corp., the luxury arm of Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., Crosswinds is not just a destination; it's an experience. Surrounded by over thousands of pine trees whispering tales of serenity, it's easy to forget you're in the tropics and not tucked away in a Swiss canton.

As we arrived at  Laussane at Crosswinds, we were greeted by a sprawling area filled with a variety of restaurants, each vying for our attention with  their unique ambiance and tempting menus. 

Next, is the whimsical world of Windmill at Lausanne. Nestled within a Christmas Village setting, this restaurant serves Swiss-inspired cuisine, transporting you to a charming European winter wonderland.

For those seeking a taste of Japan, Cafe Yama beckons. This restaurant boasts stunning views alongside delectable ramen dishes, making it a perfect spot to savor a flavorful meal.

Although we didn't have the chance to indulge in any of the delectable offerings, we couldn't resist taking a leisurely stroll around the area, taking in the sights and sounds of this bustling foodie haven.

But our adventure didn't end there. We hopped back into our car and made our way to Napa at Crosswinds, located on the other side of the area. And boy, were we in for a treat! The panoramic view of the surrounding landscape was simply breathtaking, making it the perfect spot for a snack.

However, it's worth noting that the prices at all the restaurants here are known to be on the higher side. But  the experience is well worth the splurge. So if you're looking for a memorable dining experience, Crosswinds is definitely worth a visit.

Ultimately, we settled on Napa at Crosswinds for a snack. The view? Breathtaking. The prices? A tad steep. But then again, you're paying for an experience that transcends the ordinary. Every restaurant here is a reminder that in Crosswinds, indulgence is part of the package.

Crosswinds isn't just about the food. It's about the ambiance, the fresh air, and the Swiss chalet-style homes that dot the landscape. These residences are a blend of rustic elegance and European sophistication, offering a lifestyle that's both laid-back and luxurious.

 * Weather: Tagaytay is known for its cool climate, so bring a light jacket or sweater, especially at night.  The rainy season is typically from June to September, so pack an umbrella or raincoat if you're visiting during this time.

* Capture the Scenery: Don't forget your camera to take Instagrammable shots of the Windmill, the Trone Giant, and the Lucent Stone Pillars¹.

* Transportation: Crosswinds Tagaytay is easily accessible by car. If you're coming from Manila, you can take the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and exit at Laguna Technopark. From there, follow the signs to Tagaytay. You can also avail of shuttle services offered by some hotels or travel agencies.

Calungsod, who was killed in Guam in 1672 for his missionary efforts, became the first Visayan to be canonized. His beatification by Pope John Paul II on March 5, 2000, followed by his canonization by Pope Benedict XVI on October 21, 2012, at Saint Peter’s Basilica, marks him as a symbol of youthful piety and dedication.

The chapel's architecture is a modern marvel, designed to evoke a sense of spiritual awakening. The chapel's mass schedule is accommodating for both regular attendees and those visiting for special occasions, with services held from Monday to Friday at 12:15  pm & 6:00 pm, Saturday at 12:15 noon, and Anticipated Sunday Mass at 4:30pm, 6:00 pm, &  7:30 pm, Sunday at 10:15 pm, 12:15 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:30 pm, 6:00 pm, and 7:30 pm. This schedule allows for flexibility in worship, ensuring that the chapel is a welcoming space for reflection at various times throughout the week.
